Week 1 Recap

No, no you can't!
This week, we've covered a lot of ground! We've reviewed the course outline, discussed what "writing in college" means, read through chapter 2 of our text, and now you've received your first essay assignment: your writing history. Here are the assignment details:

Writing Assignment I:

Write a literacy narrative in which you describe your development as a writer. You can write about your past experiences in school, the work place, or just life in general. I'm interested your conceptions about writing and English. You can write about one single experience, or perhaps in more general terms. This should be written in the first person, and should be at least one page double spaced. DUE SEPTEMBER 4TH

Here's a good example

For our next class meeting, please one typed copy.

Your other assignment for the weekend is to read chapter 4 (PREWRITING) in our text. A quiz is likely!

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to pose them below and/or email me.

Good luck and happy writing!
